You need to ensure that every instance listens on its own IP or port. Please check all your SpamFilter.INI files and look for the lines</P><P>ListenIP=<BR>ListenPort=</P><P>They <STRONG>must</STRONG> all be different (meaning you can't have two instances using the same combination of IP and port), and you can't have a blank IP (unless you use a different port for each of your instances)</P><P>Roberto F.<BR>LogSat Software</P>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.logsat.com/spamfilter/forums/member_profile.asp?PF=2">Guests</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2881<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 07 February 2004 at 3:45pm<br /><br /><P>I've recently turned up a fresh NT2k server with SQL2000 for the quarentined emails.</P><P>The first instance of SF via the installer works perfectly.</P><P>Working with Roberto i did the following to create the additional instances needed:</P><P>- copied files to a new directory<BR>-&nbsp;used&nbsp;the instsrv command to create the service instance, each with a different name<BR>- added the necessary line in the registry.</P><P>As it is now&nbsp; SF is working for all instances.&nbsp; However, I can only get the gui for the main one.&nbsp; When I click on the exe, from the appropriate folder, I get a can't bind error, and it's already in use.&nbsp; Afterwards, I then can see the settings which are loading from the text files, and none of the real time activity (logs, quarentine, stats, etc)</P><P>Suggestions would be most appreciated.</P>]]>
