desperado - are you actually using these settings?
"somewhat agressive" looks like a major understatement.
we tried settings similar to these, but got a lot of false positives. especially with outlook stationery.

out threshold doesn't come near 15. more like 8-9

These may be somewhat agressive but, so far I have good luck with the following:

SpamImageThreshold=15
SpamImageColorSensitivity=20
SpamImageMinWidth=200
SpamImageMinHeight=125
SpamImageSamplingPoints=200

Roberto, we see repeat emails on a daily basis with the same embedded image in them. Can I email you a few copies so you can investigate why this particular message is slipping through so often?

what exactly does the number indicate?  think default is set to 10.  Is this a size of the image or ?  thanks!

The image threshold is in the main "Setttings - Configuration" tab in SpamFilter. The higher the value, the more aggressive the filter. Please note that this filter is not going to stop every spam image (as you've already noticed ). How do I adjust this? I don't really see much being filtered while stream of image spams are hitting even my mail box.

What is the proper setting number people are using?
