Recently I get more and more complaints from users that their emails are delayed. sometimes up to 2-3 hours.
When looking at the logs I can see the first attempt to contact the spamfilter, is a few minutes (sometimes seconds) before they receive the email.

however the received email clearly shows it was send way before that time. My only thinking is that when the server contacts spamfilter for the very first time, and gets greylisted it doesn't come back for a long time (as oppossed to trying again in a short period of time)

So what the feature request? Can spamfilter log the first time a server connects to deliver email? even if the connection is rejected due to greylisting?

Is this something others could use?
