In the latest .487, it appears that when you refresh the quarantine (clicking Refresh button), the row hieght spacing is changing to very tiny (ie 2-5 pixels) and unreadable, clicking the refresh button once or twice more seems to correct the problem.

you are on winNT right? got the same problem here, i learnt to live with it, the workaround is: resize one of the columns to make the table readable again.

There is the same behaviour on w2k, plus I have a lot of other annoying problems on Quarantine grid reading from mdb: it freezes, it collapses, I got any kind of error like 10/13/05 09.46.23.369 -- (2584) Exception occurred during TUpdateListViewQuarantineThread: Canvas does not allow drawing or 10/12/05 09.05.36.563 -- (2680) Exception occurred during TUpdateListViewQuarantineThread: Stack overflow Marco / Clutcher

I have similar problems. i am using v2.6.3.473 and get contant crash when releaseing items and refreshing qurantine list. Q-list stays blank and keys are gray out. Error says: 10/13/05 16:13:59:691 -- (976) Exception occurred during TUpdateListViewQuarantineThread: Object is no longer valid i use VNC 3.3.7 to access Win2000 SP4 RL1 server onver lan Xeron2.2 and 1GB of RAM. Can you investigate please. this is a huge bug and this enterprise software should not have this kind of problem. if it does then not fit to be released to customers.... help Al

While we have never been able to reproduce the problem, thanks to some
of the logs we have received we now have better clues as to what could
be going wrong. Hopefully...
We pre-released a new build of SpamFilter, v2.6.3.488, now available in the registered user area. It contains more extensive error trapping in the way that the quarantine grid is displayed on screen. We also increased the amount of information being logged in case of crashes as some of you are experiencing. Should this problem not be resolved by this latest build, please zip and email us at support at logsat.com SpamFilter's logfile, preferibly just the section around the time of the crash, so we can look into this further. |

Thing,
What build of SpamFilter are you using? Have you tried the latest 2.6.3.488? |

Roberto, This is occuring on .488. To be honest I don't remember how exaqctly I got the program to switch to the activity Tab, but that was copied directly from there. I am forced to terminate the process (Stopping the service fails) and restart the service to get it operational now. I have been unable to reproduce the identical error above, however I did turn on logging, before hand and now have the additional error. Spamfilter service is completely locked and must be restart to process any connections. System: |
