Hi.

I have to admit it, I don't know what RegEx is. Maybe I don't have to either.. However, my logfile is filled up with mail message content and I cannot understand why. I get the following log entry for all messages (naturally the text is different - I just picked one that wasn't so space consuming..):

07-08-03 10:58:27:374 -- (1372) String matching error for (RE: Programvara Hej!  Jag vore tacksam om du kan fixa det. Det är ingen panik.  --and-- ()ffer) : TRegExpr(comp): ParseReg Unmatched () (pos 0)

What is this? What is it for? Have I missed something or done something wrong? The logfile is growing very fast since all text in all messages seems to end up in the log.

Regards.

Mårten

Marten,

Can you please let us know (1) what version of SpamFilter you are using and (2) post or email us the file with your keyword list?

Marten,

You have the following entry in your keyword http://file:" CLASS="ASPForums" TITLE="WARNING: URL created by poster. - http://file:

()ffer

SpamFilter considers any keyword line that starts with an open parenthesis "(" as a RegularExpression. Regular Expressions are very powerful search strings used to perform pattern matching against text.

If you remove that single line (it happens to be the very first in your list), everything should work just fine.
