Subject: Quarantine buttons greyed out???

Hi, I'm running a Win2k box with Exchange 5.5 and Spam Filter as my incoming SMTP server.  I also have MySQL version 4.x.x installed and working great as my quarantine database solution.  I've had no problems either deleting or delivering selected quarantined emails until tonight.  All buttons were greyed out except for the Hide List button.  If I clicked that button, all other buttons were then available, but as soon as I clicked Refresh List, all buttons were again greyed out except for the Hide List button.  I checked my MySQL server, and it was up just fine.  I stoped and restarted the Spam Filter service with no change.  Problem was I had three quarantined emails I needed delivered.  What I finally did for a workaround was to go into phpmyadmin and into the spam filter database I have setup.  From there I opened the tblquarantine table, and manually set the deliver field to 1 on those three emails.  I then went back into Spam Filter and hid the list so I had all buttons availabe.  I then could press the Deliver Selected button, and it did deliver the three quarantined items that I had changed the Deliver field on.  Then I just emptied the tblquarantine table from within phpmyadmin.  Funny thing is, I have three quarantined emails in there already, and none of the buttons are greyed out now???

Is this something to do with the amount of memory it was taking up to display the quarantined items???  There were around 100 to 150 items that I was trying to get rid of???  Can you shed any light on this for me???

Thanks!

Matt

Matt,

That is asn issue with seen with Access, this is a 1st with MySQL.

We've uploaded a new beta build .196. It has a few fixes, one of them deals with these buttons remaining grayed out. Can you please see if this one solves your problem?

Unfortunately I've been eval'ing this....haven't purchased it so I can't download anything other than 1.2.0.178.  I'd be happy to try the beta version and let you know if this resolves my issue if you can provide a different way for me to get it???

Thanks!

Matt

Matt,

Sorry, the beta (which is now an official release) was only available to registered users, it was not made public. FYI, the latest registered release does seem to have solved the issue.
