Kevin,

multithreaded - this option is not currently used. We did some benchamrks in performing multithreaded DNS MAPS RBL lookups for evey single incoming email, but saw that we were actually loosing performance. That entry is ignored by SpamFilter

minimaps - there is a GUI control for this value. It let you control the minimum number of MAPS RBL matches that must occur on an IP for it to be rejected. The higher the less likely to be a false positive, but the less likely for it to catch spam. Usually 1 or 2 are good values.

disableEHLO - SpamFilter supports limited EHLO extensions. Setting that to true disables all EHLO extensions and requires the HELO command rather than the newer EHLO.

There was a customer who was using a non-Western character encoding who had requested a while back an option to disable EHLO. I'm not 100% of what was the exact reason for the request, but it had something to do with the fact that by disabling EHLO it was forcing the remote servers to send email without using an extended character set, which was causing issues on his end (EHLO allows use of extended charset encodings).
