I have checked reject if empty "Mail From".  I have noticed several connections, 5 to 6, are hanging on in the connections grid.  These connections have empty an "Mail From" in the connection grid.  They are holding on to several threads, pounding, trying to connect, or bother us.

I added thheir IP addresses to the black list with no effect.  Can I do something to cause them to be blocked???

I just unchecked the empty "mail from" option till I can resolve this issue. Since spammers use empty or invaild "mail from" addreses ... I thought this would help me separate the sheep from the goats.

We have found a problem if selecting the "reject if empty mail from" option. Since non-deliverable error notifications and email receipts are sent with null "mail froms", they are being rejected. We will be removing that feature in the next build. Please keep that option unchecked in the meantime.
