*@chefbeth.com

Is this the proper wildcard form?

v1.1.2.117

mailto:beth@chefbeth.com" CLASS="ASPForums" TITLE="WARNING: URL created by poster. - beth@chefbeth.com is being blocked.

Any ideas?

I am also having problems with mail being blocked from excluded from emails.

I have an entry for mailto:*@namb.net" CLASS="ASPForums" TITLE="WARNING: URL created by poster. - *@namb.net , which is intended to exclude any email from this domain from blocking.  They continue to be blocked and blocked mail is not quarantined.

Looking for a solution, I have added the ip addresses of their mailservers to excluded domains. I don't know if this will work or not.

Are the MAPS and keyword filtering supposed to be excluded when I add an email address to the "exclude email" and "exclude domain"

Any ideas?

We have just been able to duplicate this problem. A patch will be released as soon as possible (12/24 hours) to take care of this and another issue processing the queue directory.

Let me take this back, when I entered mailto:*@namb.net" CLASS="ASPForums" TITLE="WARNING: URL created by poster. - *@namb.net in the "excluded from" list, there was a trailing blank space:

" mailto:*@namb.net" CLASS="ASPForums" TITLE="WARNING: URL created by poster. - *@namb.net "

and the extra space caused the test to fail. The same goes for the other posting on this.

Can you please double check your list to make sure you do not have trailing spaces after the entries?

Ok took the trailing space off.  I will test again.

Can you process the string to "trim" the trailing blanks?  They are hard to see on the screen.

I have several compaints from clients since upgrading from the public build 1.1.0.90 to both 1.1.2.117 and the retail build 1.1.2.122 about emails being blocked even though I have them in the unfiltered list. Please not you already have the system ini I am currently using. When will the patch be available? This did not seem to start being a problem until I went from 1.1.0.90.

I am beginning to think I should have waited before purchasing this until more to the bugs were fixed. I have also had another ISP that I provide consulting services purchase this application based on my recommendations.

George,

I'm confused on this posting below. I can't tell if the both sections are yours or you included a paragraph of another posting. I have not found an email with your settings, nor one that mentiones problems with the unfiltered list. If it's in the forum I've missed it...

Roberto

Roberto,
I sent them to the wrong email address the first time. Too many hours reviewing logs and connection grid.

Sorry about that. You should have them now.
