I'm very interested in a method to specify addresses that will not be added to the autowhite list for individual users. Per this thread http://www.logsat.com/spamfilter/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=5210&KW=auto+white+list - http://www.logsat.com/spamfilter/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID= 5210&KW=auto+white+list it would appear that backing up this file, delivering, then restoring the file is the main approach to be taken.
That's a very cumbersome method and is not very helpful in the web page delivery method since multiple users could be delivering emails, etc. More so, perhaps, there could be a file, or code, or something for specifying "do not auto" addresses. Maybe at the top of the file, or within the file itself, we could use the syntax:
mailto:email@domain.com:NOAW - email@domain.com:NOAW
This would be a signal to the autowhite list engine to not add that one. Since the engine already searches the file to see if the email exists, this would not be too intrusive to the code. I am looking for ways to prevent the users from creating holes within the system for things I know should not be coming through.
Silly users, email isn't for kids.
