Filtering is working great.

I'm interested in performance issues.  How high up on the list is RBL cache?  A TTL of 24hrs would work for me.  On weekends I watch the activity and I see about 50% of the SAPM coming from just a few IP addresses.  They are all blacklisted.  I was hit with about 20,000 connections from a small number of addresses over a period of less than 24 hours.

You could also have a "flush" command to empty the cache.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks,

James Taylor

It's pretty high. We should have ready within a couple of weeks.

Due to our fairly high mail volume, we run our own dnsbl server and use it as a "Proxy" to get answers from the rbl lists we desire. We can the cache on our local DNS server (located on our mail server). Our mail server doesn't know anything about our "real" public DNS servers.  We set the ttl to 30 minutes since most spam seem to come in "Bursts".
