Have you put your internally hosted domain into the local domains list?

Yes,

i host 8 domains on that server, and i put them in the local domains tab under white lists

i wrote them in minus letters, i only enter domain name like this one:cabit.qc.ca

if it can be helpful i use post.office 3.5 as mail server

thanks

OK, do you enter them into spamfilter like

one:domain.qc.ca

or like

doamin.qc.ca

?

If your email addresses are mailto:spamdude@domain.qc.ca" CLASS="ASPForums" TITLE="WARNING: URL created by poster. - spamdude@domain.qc.ca you should only have

domain.qc.cq in the local domains

If you are entering

one:cabit.qc.ca

you need to remove the one: part unless that is actually part of your FQDN. Also make certain there are no spces at the end of each domain name and that they are all on separate lines.

As one:cabit.qc.ca is an invalid domain name this is likely your problem. Spamfilter looks to see if the domain is a local one or rejects as a relay attempt. In this scenario spamfilter would have cabit.qc.ca and would not find it in the local domain lists as it would see  one:cabit.qc.ca which doesn't match.

thanks Wayne ,

i paste it to show you how i wrote them

cabit.qc.ca
abergeron.com
com4ip.com
rdc-tech.com
gensdupays.qc.ca
abfmines.com
webmediat.qc.ca
bioetik.ca

is this okay?

i"ll check for spaces at the end of them

thanks,

maybe i miss somethings i got this error if i send an email to any other domains of mine

it is like spam filter is filtering the mail i send thru port 25 ( or thru it ) if i send a mail thru port 26 (my mail server) it is okay.

This list looks just right.

Remember spamfilter is for incoming mail only. You should not be sending mail out through spamfilter.

Alain,

Wayne has been extremely helpful in helping you, please note what he mentioned in one of his postings. SpamFilter is designed to handle your incoming email traffic only. You should not use the IP SpamFilter is listening on for your "outgoing smtp server" in your email client (outlook, eudora, etc) configuration, as SpamFilter will not relay those messages to the internet. There are several posting on this, with examples on how to configure your setup.

roberto, when am I out of the net with the notebook in the outlook express don't get to send email for my domain of the net, does the spam filter generate that menssagem because?no relay allowed or % found in FROM address

Yes that is correct. SpamFilter will not allow to relay emails to domains that are not in your "Local Domains".

There are two ways to allow this to happen. (1) you can add the IP address(es) you will be using outside your network to an IP whitelist. All whitelisted IPs in SpamFilter are allowed to relay. (2) you can implement outgoing SMTP authentication. SpamFilter can authenticate SMTP clients (SSL is supported too) using either Active Directory, an LDAP directory, or Unix-style password files. Authenticated clients are also able to use SpamFilter to relay their emails anywhere.
