Hi,

1. Spamfilter receive an email with spam

2. It marks some users as rejected, because not in the Autorized to list.

3. It marks some users as spam tagged

4. the email is sent to spam tagged and rejected also ?

Shouldn't it sent to email to spam tagged but not to rejected ?

Stephane,

SpamFilter will either stop or deliver an email, in its entirety, "as-is". It will not "split" an email and deliver it to some recipients but not to others.

If you disable spam-tag, when a recipient is specified that is not in the AuthorizedTO whitelist, the sender will be immediately disconnected.

However if you select to tag spam emails and deliver them, SpamFilter will do just that. It will not prevent anyone from receiving emails, thus it cannot reject any recipients, and will simply tag the emails and then pass them on.

Unless you have bayes enabled and have multi-recips, then all bets are off on the above statement.
