My Spamfilter had a memory usage around 850k.  Restarting and lowering the MaxMsgSizeForKeywordScan= variable did not help much.

It was the bayesian filter.  I deleted all the files in the corpus direcory and it now uses only 17k.  A remarkable difference.

Are you sure about those numbers?  They must be megs, not K.  17k really would be amazing.
