Are you using SpamFilter v3.5.3.610? That option was added in that release:

// New to VersionNumber = '3.5.3.610';
{TODO -cNew : Added XServerHeader option in SpamFilter.ini to customize X-Server header}

Roberto,

Can you clarify - is this version (3.5.3.610) the "enterprise" version?  So this feature is only available to beta users?

Thanks

Version 3.5 of SpamFilter will be available (as will all future versions of SpamFilter) in both "Enterprise" and "Standard". The two product lines will continue to have the same new features. The Enterprise version will, in addition, add the flexibility to specify filters on a per-domain basis, and will store the settings in a database. But when it comes to filtering, both versions will have the same features. As a matter of fact, the "Enteprise" and "Standard" modes are toggles via a radio button in SpamFilter.

Currently the v3.5 is available only as a beta to licensed users.

Anyone know if this feature is active?

I am running 3.5.3.639 in standard mode.  I have modified the ini file, yet my emails still show "X-Server: LogSat Software SMTP Server - RC"

I'm sorry, we have a bug in the documentation this time... This option actually only changes the product name added in the "Received:" header. The release note should say:

{TODO -cNew : Added XServerHeader option in SpamFilter.ini to customize the product name inserted in the "Received:" header added by SpamFilter}

Ahh.  Thanks for the clarification.

Do you forsee an option where we can turn off the X-Server or modify it.  I know that it is best for Logsat if your name is in the header, but for us - I don't want my competitors knowing how we do such a fine job eliminating spam.
