Is it possible to have the keywords list be moved to the to of the filter order so that any keywords that are in the email will flsg that emal and reject it before any other test are done? Reason is because I'm still getting emails that have been flagged for other reasons in the quarentine other than keywords. I have the checkmark for keywords checked to not quarentine, but still seeing them enter the database. Michael |

Sorry Michael, the filtering order is fixed and cannot be changed. As a side-note, most filters take precedence over the keywords and any other filter that checks the contents of the email. This is because most of the other filters act based on the IP of the sender, and from/to addresses in the emails. This information is almost immediately available, without ever having to receive and process the body and headers of the emails, so it is very, very efficient to filter based on those rather than based on the contents.

So for example, if an email get quarantined for invalid MX records, it stops there and doesn't bother with the keywords checking to see if it should even be deleted? Michael |

An enhancement request: Would it be possible to have a switch to enable continued blacklist filter processing? I would be quite willing to incur the processing overhead if it meant some of the emails would be rejected instead of just tagged as spam. For example, based on country SF will tag something as spam, but if the from domain equals the to domain I want to reject it altogether. Unfortunately with the fixed filter order and the stop rule processing approach I can see no way to reject the email until it hits my user's email client. I do understand, the current approach is for efficient memory and processor us, but I think for some of use the trade off is worth the price. Thanks for a great product! |

I would like to second the motion here. So type of switch in the INI that can be turned on for additional scanning. I agree that for large ISPs that memory would be a concern here, but for the smaller companies that can handle the load cuz they are not getting that much traffic, would be a great added tool instead of having to run it thru another app just to suck up more resources on top of it.
