I am moving my SpamFilter version 4.0.0.772 from one server to another.  In setting up the new server I was configuring the server and came across a couple of item of interest.

1.  On the old server (version 4.0.0.772)  there is a tab called "Custom Domain Filters" that has my domain listed in it along with all of the filters checked.  On the new install I am not seeing that.  On both server the local domain information is filled out.  Each is running the standalone version.
2.  Tried to run some test emails through the filter to prepare for the mobe the emails came through okay, but on the Acitivty Screen I am not seeing those being logged.

Any ideas?

ssullivan,

That tab should be present in SpamFilter ISP "standard", but not in the "Enterprise" mode. Can you please confirm that you are running SpamFilter in "standard" mode on both servers?

For the missing activity on the new server, can you please check under the "Settings - Configuration" tab, to see if you have an incorrect IP/port in the "SMTP listener socket" leftover from the old configuration? If they are either blank or correct, do you by any chance have another SMTP application that could be listening on that IP/port? Please note that some antivirus products will scan emails as well, and to do this they setup a small SMTP server/proxy on port 25, preventing SpamFilter to binding on port 25.

To verify which software is listening on port 25 of an IP for example (aa.bb.cc.dd), simply open a MSDOS prompt and type "telnet aa.bb.cc.dd 25". The welcome banner you receive should provide a clue as to what product is using that port.
