I would really like to use RealtimeDiskLogging.
But sometimes I would like to copy the logfiles to examine them on my workstation.
When Real Time Disk Logging is on, Spamfilter crashes when I try to copy the active logfile to a different disk.
Maybe there is a way to set the interval on wich the logging is done so I at least have a small window of opportunity?

Real-time logging is available as a debugging tool in (the rare!) cases where SpamFilter crashes so hard that the event causing the crash is not spooled to the "standard" logfiles. Due to realtime logging, the activity logfile will need to be available exclusively to SpamFilter, and interfering with it will cause problems. Please note that if we understand your needs correctly, you can simply disable the RealTimeDiskLogging and allow SpamFilter to function with the default settings. With the defaults, SpamFilter will update the logfile every 60 seconds, allowing plenty of time for you to retrieve/rename the active logs. Roberto,
I was trying to build a tool to remotely see all activity and thought this would give me realtime information by reading the logfile every few seconds.
But apparently that is not going to work. Thanks for the answer. Seems like I have to do with a 60 sec delay.
