Hello all,

Just trying something... using the GUI (not SQL), I can't seem to be able to add additional failover destination SMTP servers for 'ALL DOMAINS'.

If I select a specific domain set NOT to use defaults, a grey 'Tick' button appears above. When I enter an additional destination SMTP server, the button turns black allowing me to click it, which then saves the changes to the database.

Selecting the ALL DOMAINS option allows me to enter an additional destination SMTP server, however there is no tick button to press, grey or otherwise.

Is this by design, and for some reason not possible for some technical reason I havn't thought of? OR is it this just a glitch in the GUI and by populating this field directly in the database will it be applied with no adverse side-effects?

lyndonje,

First of all, we are aware the GUI there is not very user-friendly... This said, once you make a change to the "ALL DOMAINS" settings - either for the "Destination Server Override", or for the failover section, to save the changes all you need to is to select a different domain in the list. This will post the settings to the database. We had to remove the "tick" button for that specific domain as having it there allowed the GUI to delete that special domain as well, which is something we did not want to allow.
