I have a client migrating from a Barracuda and they have several users with 300+ addresses in their personal whitelists.

What is the best way to import those e-mail addresses into a user's personal whitelist? I have the e-mail addresses to be whitelisted in a text file.

Thanks!

invicta,

For SpamFilter ISP, the entries are stored by default in the in the "\SpamFilter\Domains\SFI\WL_AutoWhiteListForceDelivery.txt" file. You can double-check the location of this file on your installation by looking at the "WL_AutoWhiteListForceDeliveryFileName" value in the \SpamFilter\Domains\SFI\Filters.ini file.

The format for the entries in this file is the following (assuming that invicta.com is your domain):

sender1@some_domain.com|user1@invicta.com
sender2@some_domain2.com|user1@invicta.com
sender3@some_domain3.com|user2@invicta.com
sender4@some_domain4.com|user3@invicta.com

etc.

There is no need to restart SpamFilter after adding the entries to the file (the file can be created if it does not exist).

For SpamFilter Enterprise the above entries should be added to the database directly in the table "tblwl_autowhitelistforcedelivery", in the "email" field. The database record also contains a value for a "domainid" which should be set to "1".
