Hello, somehow my Bayesian filter has stopped filtering/recognizing spam. what is the correct procedure to reset it, and how can we 'teach' it spam? thank you in advance. |

Hi ImInAfrica, To reset the Bayesian database you can:

In the SpamFilter.ini file, the value: MinEmailsForBayesKickIn=5000 is used to determine the minimum number of "good" and the minimum number of "spam" emails that must be received before the bayesian filter starts to stop spam. You could lower those values, but doing so may decrease the accuracy of the filter. We do not use or offer bayesian filter to our customers, in part because of what you have listed here.
