I am getting some strange entries in this file that seem to have a prvs= entry in them...this is causing a problem as the next time we get an email they are again quarantined with a slightly different prvs= prefix on them like

mailto:prvs=1694617808=somebody@ups.com|someoneelse@portofportland.com" rel="nofollow - prvs=1694617808=somebody@ups.com|someoneelse@portofportland.com

can you give me a clue why these entries are happening?

Hi Terry,

That is actually quite common, it is called http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bounce_Address_Tag_Validation" rel="nofollow - Bounced Address Tag Validation .  It does make the whitelisting process for those addresses more complex, you need to use some type of wildcard or regex in your whitelisting process.
