I am getting this error when I install the heartbleed dll per the instructions...

Terry,

We're trying to replicate this without luck so far. Could you please let us know what version of Windows your are running, and to confirm it's a 64bit version of the OS?

That was actually the same exact OS/architecture we were testing against in the lab trying to replicate your issue. From the error it seems as if the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable is not present on the server. Could you please try downloading/installing the x86 version (as SpamFilter is a 32bit application) from Microsoft's website:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29

The VC++ 2008 redistributable was present in our test plain vanilla 2008R2 x64 installation, but it's possible that one of the device drivers on the server installed it without our knowledge.
