I love the new IP Blacklist Cache function.

What I really would like to see though, is the DNS names of the IPs currently being blocked (on the statistics page only, not in the log), not only the IP addresses.

This would help to sort out any "major" e-mail servers being blocked.

Would be a great christmas present... :-)

Cheers!

Mike

Uhm.. We greatly reduced the load on the DNS servers and on SpamFilter by not performing the reverse DNS test unless it was required by some filters. I guess we can add an ini configuration option to perform a lookup upon connection again if required. However, in your case, would a reverse DNS query on the IPs listed in the IP cache dump (in the "Statistics" tab) work for you?

Hi Roberto

Yes, I'm only talking about the "statistics" tab. And even there only the hosts that are really blacklisted, not the ones in the limbo.

An option to do reverse dns on that screen would be great!

Cheers!

Roberto,

I agree with Mike as I end up copying the stats on occation and then doing a manual lookup ... a pain in the arse.
