All,

One of our users (Sean) has set up a BBS for REGISTERED OWNERS of SpamFilterISP to discuss issues that would either be inappropriate on the LogSat board or we want to keep private so as to not give away our strategies to would be Spammers.

I will be providing the verification that the users are actually LogSat customers, rather than Spammers and I have a "Real Job" and the Network Administrator of an ISP so please be patient.  I still need a day or so to finalize the logistics with Sean.  Let me know what the interest level is.   This WILL NOT REPLACE the LogSat Support forum nor is the intent to support SpamFilterISP.

Regards,

Dan S.

Great Dan, I was wondering when this was finally going to be up and running.

But simply trying to restict access to registered users may not stop the leaking of ideas or infiltration as it only costs the price of registration to gain access.  Unless you have some other thoughts on further registration/authentication.

Nonetheless I think the private forum will still be a very useful tool.

And another reason for users to register the product, and thus fund further development of it.

Count me in.   SPAM recently has once again started to consume WAY to much of my time.  I am pissed and want results... :)

I agree with a previous poster that mentioned some spammers might have purchased SpamFilter to "test" ways around our filters.  How do we avoid them?  The Wolves in Sheep skin!

Would use this, great initiative.

Tell us how and when we can "apply" because my spamfilter is registered on a purchaser at my office instead of me, grr ;)
