This is working well with one exception. I have two servers, they both load the same text file from a share on another computer. This usually works fine, however I am finding that spamfilter sometimes overwrites this file and erases all the email address that are entered in it.

Resulting in people's mail getting caught that shouldn't be getting caught.

Any idea why?

Kevin,

Sorry for the delay in responding to this, we had a hurricane that decided to butt in our offices....

While loosing at the most the last added email address could be a possibility, loosing the whole list is strange. Can you please let us know more in detail what happens to that whitelist (ex. file 0KB in size, some addresses gone, all addresses gone)? How many entries does that file have on average, and how many emails/day (ballpark) do your servers receive?

Hey hopefully everything is ok down there.

When I lost them, the file went down to 0kb, the last time I saw it there was about 10 entries in it. Now there is about 100 or so, hasn't been a problem since, so I dunno. I posted it just in case someone else had a problem with it too.

I'm running spam filter in application mode (not running as a service)

Each spamfilter shares a single autowhitelist on another machine.

Kevin
