Hi,

I'm adminstering a logsat implentation and several domains are passing trough the logsat. On one of the domain I have a huge amount of spam going to non existing users.

there are for that particular domain only 5 mail accounts, so i want to be able to drop all the others without quarantaining.

What is the best way to solve this issue?

tnx

sebastian

Sebastian,

There is an "Authorized TO Emails" whitelist. If you want SpamFilter to only deliver emails to specific addresses in your domain(s), you can manage such a list here. Please not that if such a list is present, SpamFilter will not deliver email to an address unless it is present in such a list. Use with care, as the list is global to all domains SpamFilter is configured for.

If you have several domains, but only one of them has the 5 users you mention, that whitelist will not work for you. An option would be to run 2 separate instances of SpamFilter (you will need to install multiple copies of SpamFilter in different directories), each one with its own settings, each one listening on a different IP:port combination.

Please note that you do *not* need an extra licenses when running multiple instances. SpamFilter is licensed per Windows server, and you may run as many copies you wish in that Windows environment.
