As whitelists of addresses can get very long, has anyone come up with a good method to find and eliminate duplicate entries in their whitelists?

Or an application that can do so?

You can do them in a database or spreadsheet and sort them in ascending order then export the cleaned version to a text file. It would be great if this part of the application could be also database driven. It would speed the application up and make for better management of all of the different lists.

That's what I do now.  I was hoping for an automated process to avoid having to do it manually.

Alan,

If you look at the "Local Domains" whitelist, we've done just what you ask for. It's automatically sorted, and deletes duplicate entries. We're hesitant in doing the same for other lists, as some users may like seing the entries in the order they were entered.

At this point we may add a checkbox that allows all lists to be sorted/uniqued or not. We wont' do that right now though, we'd like to have this beta stabilized 1st though.
