I am having a weird problem. I am running the latest version of SpamFilter ISP and it works great but after a few days I get the messages below and it stops forwarding emails to my exchange server. Anyone knows what might be causing it? 07/19/05 18:36:30:406 -- Starting to process queue directory... |

gzejer determined that the issue was caused by the disk partition where
SpamFilter was installed being full. Everything went back to normal
when more disk space was made available.

Roberton this is a completely different issue. I have about 20GB of space on that partition. SpamFilter works fine for a while and fails after about 1 week.

..oops! I tried to make it too easy. If the corpus is locked the worse
that can happen is that the email will not be scanned by the Bayesian
filter.
Can you try, while SpamFilter is running, to delete the db.dat and db.dat.prb files (after making a backup of them first)? If you're able to do so, somhow SpamFilter is keeping a lock on them and we'll have to figure out why. If they are still locked and are unable to delete them, can you then try to stop SpamFilter and then try again deleting them? If you're unable to to it now, there's another application (antivirus?) on the server locking the files, and you'll need to find out what that is. After deleting the files, can you try to stop SpamFilter, and delete the whole corpus directory (again making a backup first), and then restarting SpamFilter to see if the problem goes away with a fresh corpus? |
