I was wondering if it would be feasible to place all the Black/White Lists into the MySQL database.

Thanks in advance.

SpamFilter will only read that information from text files, sorry. Please not that in theory it would be possible to store the data in a database and then run exports to save it to text files for SpamFilter to read.

It was just an idea to facilitate some sort of a disater recovery. If all the info was in tables then a simple install on a new server would require minimum reconfiguration.

I have the majority of our lists in mySQL.  I have also written Cold Fusion based web administration for them.  The exports can be manual or scheduled.   I ran into problems trying to write to the active files even though the write time is relatively short.  I had to export to a temporary file first and then copy it over.
