Im running Exchange 2003 with Spam filter version 4.0.0.722.
What is corpus.db and is there a way to disable that function?
Im getting lots of Errors for example.
We are getting this error every minute: 07/25/08 08:13:52:437 -- (2496) TBayesianThread - Begin LoadFromFile for corpus.db (db.dat) 07/25/08 08:13:52:437 -- (2496) TBayesianThread - LoadFromFile for Corpus.db - copied db.dat -> Ind5A1.tmp 07/25/08 08:13:52:437 -- (2496) TBayesianThread - LoadFromFile for Corpus.db - copied db.dat.prb -> Ind5A2.tmp 07/25/08 08:13:52:546 -- (2496) TBayesianThread - corpus.db copy of files not exist - exiting 07/25/08 08:13:52:546 -- (2496) TBayesianThread - End LoadFromFile for corpus.db (db.dat) (0) 07/25/08 08:13:52:546 -- (2496) SpamFilterForm - corpus.db cannot be loaded, waiting 60 seconds 07/25/08 08:13:53:218 -- (2260) TSpamFilterForm - Begin LoadFromFile for corpus.db (db.dat) 07/25/08 08:13:53:218 -- (2260) TSpamFilterForm - LoadFromFile for Corpus.db - copied db.dat -> Ind5A3.tmp 07/25/08 08:13:53:218 -- (2260) TSpamFilterForm - LoadFromFile for Corpus.db - copied db.dat.prb -> Ind5A4.tmp 07/25/08 08:13:53:327 -- (2260) TSpamFilterForm - corpus.db copy of files not exist - exiting 07/25/08 08:13:53:327 -- (2260) TSpamFilterForm - End LoadFromFile for corpus.db (db.dat) (0) 07/25/08 08:13:53:327 -- (2260) SpamFilterForm - corpus.db cannot be loaded, waiting 60 seconds |

I holds the statistical database used by the Bayesian filter - translated in english :
it contains a list of every token (word) that appeared in the various emails being received, along with a count of how many times that word was present in spam emails, and a count of how many times the word was present in "clean" emails. This info is then mathematically computed to determine if the various words in an email add up to a spam email or not. ...well.. maybe not so much clear in english either! Sorry! |
