Hello. Looks like a great product.

I have just installed 1.2.0.167 on NT4. I have set the "number of days to quarrantine" to 1 and gone through the wizard to set up the existing Access database. However, the quarrantine is always empty.

When SpamFilter gets a message to quarrantine, I get the following in the logs:

07/06/03 12:02:06:676 -- (434) Exception occurred during RECEIVEMESSAGE: Insufficient base table information for updating or refreshing

Any ideas? The instructions on setting up the quarrantine db were *very* sparse, so it's quite possible I did something wrong.

Also, two bugs in the wizard:
1) You cannot operate the wizard without a mouse (you cannot select from the radio buttons)
2) The wizard resets the MS Access radio button to MySql when you choose the "Check DB connection string" button.

Thanks for any help. I really want to be able to pull things out of quarrantine before I turn on keywords, and RBL's is insufficient to block enough spam.

Seth,

I am using SQL so I am no expert on using the access DB ... HOWEVER, I am pasting in a previous post by Roberto, the developer:

"Please note that if you selected MS Access, you will need to use MDAC 2.7 (Microsoft Data Components), and use the UDL file provided instead of an ODBC driver, as the ODBC driver has some bugs that won't allow it to work."

Yell back if this doesn't help.
