we are noticing new kind of spam. the header info for the sender is: From: <2009-03-17 17:06:20> is there anyone with a regex to stop it? this is originating from China thx Amir |

Amir,
While we don't have a RegEx for you (yet), please note that the keyword filter will only look for text within the "text" and "html" (and in PDF files) section of the emails, it will not look in the email's headers (except the "Received" ones) and in the binary contents. The "From" headers is thus not scanned for keywords by default. There is however the following option in the SpamFilter.ini file that allows the keyword filter to scan for content in all the email's headers as well: ;if ScanAllHeaders is set to 1 SpamFilter will add all email's headers to the text examined for keywords and statistical Bayesian searches. ScanAllHeaders=0 |
