Hello Everyone,
We run 2 mail servers, Each with GreyListing enabled,
When an external mail server connect to send an e-mail and being rejected for the first time
by OurServer1, The next time it will try, Will it go to OurServer1 or try the next record in the MX
Records? (That case it will be rejected twice, since the two spamfilter doesnt synchronize themself)

Our MX records goes first to OurServer1, Then to OurServer2

Thanks,
Eran.

Eran,

If you have two MX servers with greylisting, once the remote SMTP server has its connection rejected by the greylist filter, it should try connecting to the secondary MX server right away. If that connection is also rejected due to the greylisting, then the SMTP server should queue the email and attempt redelivery after a few minutes.

So the remote SMTP server should make one redelivery attempt, regardless of whether there is one MX server or two MX servers, as the remote SMTP server should try all MX records in sequence without delay during the first attempt.
