I had SpamFilter running on a test server and everything ran fine. Yesterday I installed it (fresh) on a new server and migrated all settings over. The program runs great as expected but when I actually log off and back on I have to stop and restart the service to be able to access to system tray icon.

It is running on a fresh install of win 2k server. the server has not been restarted since the install. I am not accessing through term svcs. I am using vnc to access the console. The only difference between this server and the test server is the destination mail server ports are different, but I don't think this should affect how the icon behaves. The service appears to still be running even though the icon is gone.

I saw that this was once and issue with NT, but this is win 2k... not an upgrade.

I think this is a great program and appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Peter

Peter,

Can you let us know what version of SpamFilter and of VNC you are using?

spam filter ver 1.1.2.122
vnc ver 3.3.6 (real vnc)

not to seem like a suck-up but.... after seeing what your software does I am confident that I won't have a problem getting the registration fee from my superiors after it is running in production for a few weeks.

Thanks again,
Peter
