George, Alan, et al,

My sample stats pages are available for dl at http://www.desperado.com/dl/stats.zip

Please understand that a) this is not what I do for a living,  b)I make no claims that it works (it works for me!) c) you can use it and pass it on.  You MAY NOT sell it or use it for profit or gains.  d) You MAY use it on your own site, even if that site does operate for profit or gain.

Dan S.

Geroge,

I read your post about that.  Is it just one list or all lists?

Dan

Just the BlockedTo list in the Blacklist side. Roberto sent this reply back to me:

Only after I actually tried this I understood what you ment, just by reading the email I had interpreted it differently.

You configured BlockedTo email not to be quarantined, but have the other filters (no Rev. DNS for ex) instead to quarantine. An email arrives, the TO is in the blacklists, and the sender has no ReverseDNS. The email gets quarantined even though BlockedTo says not to.

..but the setting for no rev DNS instead says "quarantined it". There is no way currently to tell SpamFilter which is the predominant quarantine yes/no rule.

Whatever filter triggers the reject first will determine if the email will be quarantined or not.

Roberto
