If you have an IP address listed in your blacklist, and then go to the Activity Log screen and test that same address to see if it's in ORBS, the service will immediately unload.

Ric,

Can you let us know which version of SpamFilter you are using, what version of Windows is on the server, and how you access the server (remotely, PCAnywhere, locally at the console, etc.)

Roberto -

Sorry - I meant to include all this on my original post... got distracted:

Running latest version (1.2.0.206) on Win2k Server (SP4).  The problem happens locally at the console or by remote (VNC).  I just re-tested the situation (with a different IP address) and it's still happening.

Here's exactly what I have: only ONE ip address listed in the blacklist (I haven't checked with more than one), with the checkbox checked for 'Do not quarantine...' - note that the service doesn't unload if the checkbox isn't checked.  It's not an orderly shutdown of the service - it's an abrupt crash.

Ric,

We were finally able to reproduce your error. You are correct, that is definetly a bug. We'll have that fixed in the next release.

Thanks for the report!
