   I've noticed that the eval version has stopped at .178.  There was a bug that has been fixed sometime between 178 and 206 which involved grayed out selection buttons for the Quarantine database.
There is another bug in the database in that it is almost always necessary to select an item and click "Deliver" two or three times before the item is delivered--the first time or two, attempts to deliver the item do not work.  Has this been addressed?
There appears to be another issue with the program in that trying to make changes to it every minute or so is unresponsive, presumably because the program is processing incoming mail.  Is there a way to avoid or remove this rather annoying periodic unresponsiveness, e.g. have I done something wrong?
Finally, I run the program in stand-alone mode because there doesn't seem to be any way to configure it on the fly when it is running as a daemon (service).  Are there plans to address this, or has it already been addressed?
Do you have any plans to offer reduced pricing (or continue offering eval versions beyond 178) for home users with small networks who cannot afford $400.00/copy?  I certainly understand if not--even at $400.00/copy, your program is a great bargain, but I just thought I'd ask....  (I wish I could afford the $400.00, but, as I am presently unemployed....

Every minute SpamFilter performs a few tasks, as in saving the log file, reloading all the various black/white lists. Unless these are huge files, the program should not become unresponsive. All configurations changes are still possible form the GUI and are effective immediately. Please note that using Windows 2000 you will not be able to Terminal Service in to the server and see the GUI. This is because Terminal Services in Windows 2000 (MS fixed this ini Windows 2003) does not let you have access to the real console. You can use PCAnywhere, McAfee's Remote Desktop, DameWare utilities, or anything else that lets you remote in a server and see the actual screen to do so. >> Do you have any plans to offer reduced pricing (or continue offering eval versions beyond 178) for home users with small networks who cannot afford $400.00/copy? >> Yes, we do. he free versions are not released as frequently as the retails updates, but we still continue to make them available. The reason that the free build is still at .178 is that because we're concentrating on the release of a new version of SpamFilter that will include new statistical filtering on incoming emails (free beta is available for download).
