I am trying out the ' download test' version of SpamFilter. All works fine, except for one problem. It seems when spamfilter is busy it sends a tmp file to c:\winnt then on to c:\spamfilter\queue . Which is ok, unless the email is infected. My Server virus program picks it up. But I would rather have my scanmail virus program pick it up. I can have the virus scan program exclude c:\spamfilter\queue. But I do not want to exclude the c:\winnt dir. So when Spamfilter sends the tmp to c:\winnt, there is my dilemma. I have SpamFilter listening on 25 email listening on 28. running winnt 4.0 with TrendMicro Server Protect and Scanmail. Any ideas? -Shawn |

Shawn, We had never noticed that, as only attachments are temporarily saved in the %TEMP% system variable directory, which defaults to WINNT\TEMP on most NT4 servers. That is a very valid request, and we have already modified the current soon-to-be-released beta to stage attachements in the SpamFilter\temp directory instead. Roberto F. |
