When I test attachment blocking and now it works....the email is quarantined in the database.  I notice however that I receive a "Undelivered mail returned to sender" message back apparently from the spamfilter system.  Is this normal?  Since I quarantine the message it doesn't seem like the sender should think it was necessarily not delivered....Terry

Terry,

Any message that is either quarantined or immediately rejected causes an SMTP error code to be given to the remote connecting SMTP server, rather than an "250" code which means "yeah, I got the message". The remote server then, seing the error, sends a non-delivery email to the sender to notify them the email was not delivered.

For a detailed explanation of why this behavior occurs even when emails are quarantined, please see this posting at http://www.logsat.com/spamfilter/forums/showmessage.asp?messageID=3156.
