Since upgrading to .367, it seems that some of the email address in our exlude from list are being ignored by the filter.  Everyone I've noticed so far has been caught by the Bayesian filter as a 100% statisitcal match while ignoring the fact that these addresses are white listed.  Any thoughts on this?

Also, the Bayesian filter is suddenly causing a lot of false positives when it was very reliable before.

Just saw the tip from Dan about tweaking the cleanup variable for the Corpus database on high volume servers.  Hopefully that will resolve our increasing false positive rate.

Now if I can just get a handle on this excludefrom issue.

Fred,

Without more information on what is happening, as the section of SpamFilter's activity log showing the incoming emails and without knowing your settings (SpamFilter.ini file, all local blacklist/white list files and keyword files), it's hard to guess on what is happening.

Please note that the following fix was applied in build 2.0.1.357:

/ New to VersionNumber = '2.0.1.357'; {TODO -cFix : whitelisted domains were able to use SpamFilter as an open relay}

If the emails addresses you're referring to are trying to use SpamFilter to relay email to the internet that will not work. In order to relay to the internet (meaning somewehre other than delivering to your local domains) the only way to allow that is by using an IP whitelist.
