We have purchased Log Sat software (on version 2.6.3.473). My emails have stopped going to AOL becease they are triing to do a Reverse Lookup on our MX record, which is pointed to the Spam filter server. However our outbound email is going out a different server. Any suggestions? Shane Sullivan |

SpamFilterISP does not effect your DNS settings, go to http://dnsreport.com/ and check your domain(s) for missing or improperly setup DNS settings. |

Shane,
AOL will most likely check the reverse-DNS entry for the IP that is sending them mail. So you should ensure that your outbound server (no t just SpamFilter) has a valid reverse-DNS entry on its public IP address. |

One warning with DNSReport .... with SpamFilter, as with most anti spam servers the Connect to mail servers will fail. I have requested that they change the way they test this but since the action to their test is "Non-RFC", they will not budge.
