Sorry guys, I am kind of new to this thing. How do I setup the website? another thing is the antivirus, how configurable is it? I couldn't get it activated. :-( |

Benny,
On our download page you'll see a link to download our sample web interface. Assuming you're using IIS as a webserver, unzip the sample files, and copy the ASP directory in the zipped archive to a directory under your webserver's root directory. In
the ASP directory there will be one file you'll need to customize, it's the
db_connect.asp page. In there you'll need to specify the database connection to
your database server. We recommend using UDL (Microsoft Universal DataLink)
files for this, aas so hopefully you'll already have created a UDL file for
SpamFilter. If so, just change the line in the asp file:
con.Open "File Name=d:\www\SpamFilter.udl" so that it point to the UDL file describing your connection to the quarantine database. That's pretty much it... Once you access that directory from a web browser, users will be able to self-register their email address, and will receive by email a password to access their quarantine area. From there, they are able to see (and force the delivery of) their quarantined emails. In regards to the antivirus, other than instaling the antivirus plugin and activating it by entering the activation code, there is really not much more that has to be done. By default it will update its virus definitions every hours. Edited by LogSat |

I cannot get the website working. It keeps saying "page not found", but I can read the readme.txt if I change the http://..../asp/default.asp to http://..../asp/readme.txt
