Hi there.

Getting on quite well with the eval now but I cannot seem to setup the Quarantine DB.  I have another server running RedHat Linux with MySQL version 3.23.54.

I have successfully created the database and (eventually!) created the tables.  Incidentally, the script that creates the tables as supplied with the evaluation version of the software appears to be wrong.  It tries to create tables named 'tblmsgs' and 'tblquarantine' rather than 'tblMsgs' and 'tblQurantine', etc...

Anyway, the tables have all been created and all appears to be OK - tblRejectCodes and tblServers have both been populated for example.  However, my logs keep showing errors like this

02/23/06 13:27:22:929 -- (2820) Exception occurred during TDeleteExpiredQuarantineThread.Execute: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'DISTINCTROW tblMsgs.* FROM tblMsgs INNER JOIN tblQuarantine ON tblMsgs.MsgID = t' at line 1

. . . .and nothing seems to be quarantined.

I've tried different MySQL servers and the same thing seems to happen each time.

What am I doing wrong.  I guess it must be me as no-one else on the forum seems to have the same troulbe.

Thanks for your help.

Belvoir,

SpamFilter supports MySQL v4 and higher. Prior to v4, the SQL searches are case sensitive, which is probably why you are running into these problems. Are the other MySQL servers v3.x as well?

Yes.  The other one's running 3.23.58.  I guess that's the problem then!

Many thanks

Upgraded the MySQL to v4.1.  Everything fine now!

Thanks for the help.
