Roberto, How about this idea; Suppose you could count how often a unique IP is beeing listed in SFDB per month. Suppose this happens more than 10 times per month, you could do some addional checks on the IP (MX record etc), and when very certain this is a 'legit' spammer IP, dump it into a static block so that this IP won't bother us ever again. Ip's that are listed here have to manually de-list themselfes if needed. My hope is that using this method you will effectively put a stake thru the heart of the zombie-networks. Then all that remains are malicious/misconfigured 'genuine' mailservers.
