I continue to get email from an aol address that gets blacklisted by distributed list as well as email address directly. For some reason I see a Whitelisted EmailTO in the header even though I do not have any white listed Authorized Emails To. Here are a couple header examples:

X-SF-WhiteListedReason: Whitelisted EmailTO
X-Rejection-Reason: 2 - 521 The EMail blato35@aol.com is Blacklisted.

X-SF-WhiteListedReason: Whitelisted EmailTO
X-Rejection-Reason: 21 - 557 Your IP 205.188.249.150 is currently listed in SpamFilter ISP's Distributed Blacklist. Please see http://www.logsat.com/SFDB/why.asp for details.

jkraeger,

The entry "X-SF-WhiteListedReason: Whitelisted EmailTO" means that the recipient of the email is listed in the "Unfiltered Emails" whitelist. This whitelist contains the list of users who do not wish to be filtered, so all the emails addressed to them will be unfiltered.

FYI that list is different than the "Authorized TO Emails". This latter list only contains the list of valid email addresses on your mail server (if you chose to implement such a list). If this list present, SpamFilter will reject any emails addressed to users not listed in the "Authorized TO Emails". If an email address is present in that list, SpamFilter will accept the email addressed to that user, and will continue applying all the other filters to see if it is spam or not. It will however not whitelist emails addressed to users in this "Authorized TO Emails" list. Only users listed in the "Unfiltered Emails" will have the emails unfiltered for spam.
