Just wondering what people use for MAPS servers currently?  I was noticing a large number of false positives coming from SORBS, so I did some checking on the MAPS we use.


Spamcop - 1.03% false positives
Barracuda - 0.12% false positives
Sorbs - 12.15 false positives

Obviously we have pulled SORBS out of the list, that is a crazy high % of false positives.

What are you using on your servers?

Also, how does spamfilter query them?  Is the order in the list important, or are they all checked at the same time on a different thread?

While researching new RBL services I found spam eating monkey.  Looks OK, but I have not tested it yet.  They publish a http://spameatingmonkey.com/lists.html

1) SEM-URI & SEM-URIRED
I suspect these should be compatible with spamfilter, but have not tried yet.

2) SEM-FRESH & SEM-FRESH10 & SEM-FRESH15
These contain domain names registered in the last 5, 10 & 15 days.  Would these lists be compatible with spamfilter?  I suspect probably not, but they would probably be a good way at stopping some additional spam with a very low false positive rate.
