Yesterday our logsat spamfilter version 4.5.0.31 locked up tight after this message in the spamfilter logs

I rebooted the system and it started working fine...ideas?

Terry,

The SSL exceptions should just be warnings about the inability to establish an SSL connection with a remote server. These errors are fairly common, and do not cause concerns. 

SpamFilter stopping afterwards however is indeed an issue. Could you please zip and email us (at support at logsat dot com) SpamFilter's activity logfiles for the 22nd so we can try to see what happened?

The logs do not show anything unusual, so unfortunately we can't pinpoint the cause of the problem. Should this happen again, could you please let us know, and send us SpamFilter's activity logfile again for the day it happened?
