Hello all,
Just wanted to see if someone could point me in the right direction. I just started in this position and the last guy has no documentation on this software. I have been combing through the site looking for some how to books on this. Spam is terrible here and it's not using Bays' at all. I wanted to get it setup plus some other features. We are currently using SpamFilter v.2.0.1.302. Should this be upgraded or is that version fine? Also a weird bug that I have seen is that when I put some Text in the Bays Util menus and hit Show Bays Prob button the whole window closes. I have to open up the program again. All my stats are gone. Any help would be greatly appriecated. Thanks |

Jason, The best start, if you have a registered version, would be, in fact, to get the latest version (in my opinion). The latest is a pre-release version build 406 which is what I am running. Once you are running AT LEAST version 2.1.2.402, many issues may "go away". You may have some configuration issues that should be looked at at that point. I find the 406 build to be totally stable but you may want to read the release notes to see if you want to jump directly to the 406 build. Regards, Dan S. |
