Hello all,

Just wanted to see if someone could point me in the right direction.  I just started in this position and the last guy has no documentation on this software.  I have been combing through the site looking for some how to books on this.  Spam is terrible here and it's not using Bays' at all.  I wanted to get it setup plus some other features.

We are currently using SpamFilter v.2.0.1.302.  Should this be upgraded or is that version fine?

Also a weird bug that I have seen is that when I put some Text in the Bays Util menus and hit Show Bays Prob button the whole window closes.  I have to open up the program again.  All my stats are gone.

Any help would be greatly appriecated.

Thanks

Jason

Jason,

The best start, if you have a registered version, would be, in fact, to get the latest version (in my opinion). The latest is a pre-release version build 406 which is what I am running.

Once you are running AT LEAST version 2.1.2.402, many issues may "go away".  You may have some configuration issues that should be looked at at that point.  I find the 406 build to be totally stable but you may want to read the release notes to see if you want to jump directly to the 406 build.
