Hello,  I'm currently running the latest free version for evaluation and using MSSQL database.  I'm currently running 1 domain through it, and after 24 hours the database size has grown to 80meg.    We currently process about 1.4 million messages a day for about 200 domains.  Does anyone have any thoughts on the quarantine database size for this many emails?  By my calculations if I held messages for 14 days, my db size would be about 200Gig.

Also, I'm a little confused about the enterprise edition.  Is it priced differently than the ISP version?  I don't see it available for purchase?

In the enterprise version, can I have some domains quarantine email and other domains just forward all?

As far as the web admin interface goes, did I hear that this would not be available in the future?  Right now, this barely works for me due to the fact that it doesn't seem very well laid out, and the activity log locks up my browsers, but this would be my preferred administration method, since I will have multiple users doing admin tasks.

The Enterprise verison is not available yet as an official product, it's still in the beta stages. The beta program is only available to licensed users. The price for this new version is still not final, but will most likely be around $1,200.

You are correct about the web admin interface. It's popularity was low, so this feature will be removed in the next release of SpamFilter.

In regards to the database size, the answer really depends on your DB server hardware. When it comes to adding new quarantined emails, the CPU requirements for adding new records are rather low. What does consure resources are the cleanup DB SQL queries that delete expired emails. This by default occurs every 60 minutes, and with high traffic stes, could result in several tens of thousands of emails being deleted from the DB during this process. This could take a toll on the DB server if it is not powerful enough.

As a side note, the upgrade to SpamFilter Enterprise will be available for free to licensed users.
